Strope Aircraft Maintenance is celebrating 25 years of service!

Stop and see John and the crew on Saturday July 11th.  John is warming up the grille, so, swing by his hangar if you are in the area on Saturday afternoon.  Congratulations will be richly rewarded with some good old fashion cookout food.

Discovery, Expeditions Unknown.  If you missed a chance to see Tim Chopp, the C-54 and the crew recently on Discovery's Expedition Unknown, you can watch it here.

You must be able to first sign in with some service like Direct TV or many others, any service that carries the Discovery channel.  Hat off to the "camera man,"  he or she was thoughtful enough to catch some flame and billowing smoke as the big beautiful radial engines were brought to life!  Seriously, Tim and everyone did a great job on their portion of the show.  With rumors of Daniel Craig leaving the role of 007, I think Tim should throw his hat in the ring as the next Bond, James Bond.  He can actually fly those aircraft Craig pretends to fly, and any vodka martini aboard the C-54 would for sure be shaken and not stirred!

Summer is not far off, will it be golf clubs or perhaps a flying club?  Check out our brand new minty fresh Greene County Flying Club page.  The club has a few memberships available, if you have ever thought about learning to fly, or are already a licensed pilot and want back in the game, it would be a challenge to find a better deal.
